terms of service

indicative effective date — 2026-08-17

who this is between

"we", "us" and "vajraquant" refer to vajraquant. "you" refers to the person or entity accessing the platform through an account, or acting on behalf of an account holder with a granted role.

what the platform does

vajraquant is a software tool. it provides a strategy editor, a backtest engine, a deployment runtime that connects to SEBI-compliant broker APIs, a tax-reporting engine, and related surfaces. it is not a broker, not a research analyst, and not an investment adviser. the platform executes what you instruct through it; it does not decide what to trade.

your account and access

you are responsible for the security of your credentials and any actions taken under your account. multi-factor authentication is required before live deployment. you may grant additional roles (CA, advisor, auditor, etc.) with defined scopes; you remain the account holder and the roles inherit the terms.

your use of the platform

you agree not to: (a) attempt to bypass the risk-limit, kill-switch or rate-limit systems; (b) attempt to place orders through the platform for accounts you do not have written authorisation to trade; (c) reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the trained-model weights or vendor-licensed data behind the platform; (d) upload broker credentials that were not issued to you or an entity you are authorised to trade for.

strategies you generate, import or publish

code generated from your inputs, or created by you in the editor, is yours. by publishing a strategy to strathub you grant other users a limited right to read, fork and run it in their own accounts. no published strategy is a signal, a recommendation, or an offer to manage funds — and the platform does not permit copy-trading or signal-following.

what we do not promise

the platform provides tools, not outcomes. we do not promise returns, do not guarantee execution quality beyond the broker's SLA, and do not guarantee that any strategy — including one you find useful in backtest — will perform similarly in live conditions. past performance does not indicate future returns. the platform does not owe you a specific rate of uptime beyond the published SLA on your tier.

our liability

to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for trading losses, opportunity costs, tax exposure, or any loss arising from your use of the platform. our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. this does not limit any liability we may have that cannot be limited by applicable Indian law.

termination

you may close your account at any time. subscription refunds are governed by the refund policy. we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used to breach applicable law. we will give you notice unless doing so creates a legal, safety, or platform-integrity risk.

jurisdiction and governing law

these terms are governed by the laws of India. disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [city — to be set by counsel].

changes

material changes will be notified in-app and by email at least 30 days before they take effect. the final terms at launch will supersede this draft; where changes affect fees or user rights, we will re-request acceptance.
